Same way, design and advertising often manipulate perception. Typography deals with the visual navigation and interpretation of content.      Contrast in Typography Contrast is important to create distinction between information. Methods of creating contrast include light and bold, condensed and extended, organic and machined, roman and italic, small and large, negative and positive, self-censor and ornate, simple, red and blue, etc. Contrast helps the reader separate different types of information. There are seven kinds of contrast: size, weight, form, structure, texture, colour, and direction. Contrast of size draws the reader's attention and is commonly used in the title hea...

VISUAL & SOUND PRODUCTION - PROJECT 1 - 05/09/2023 - 19/09/2023  Safanah Aulia Asep (0337752) Bachelors of Design (Hons) in Creative Media Visual and Sound Production Project 1 INTRODUCTION fig. MIB TASKS Week 2: This week we started on our project 1, which is an audio dubbing exercise. We also need to have sound effects besides the voice overs in the provided video. The footage we used was taken from a scene in the movie Munich. I first watched the given footage to note down the dialogues I need to record for. Mr Martin also mentioned to create a google sheet to organize what scenes requires what sound effects/ambience.  fig. scene list on google sheet We were instructed that for the dialogues, each lines are to be recorded separately, using our phone. After listing the scenes and what sound effect would be used, I then searched for those in a website that provides free sounds that we can download from. I had a total of 11 recordings from both the dialogues as well as the...

For this exercise, we were required to use Adobe Premiere Pro.  The first video is from a mints advertisement: The second video is about a doritos advertisement and has a bit difficulty as the video sequence wasn't in the right order, so we had to arrange them to be in the right order. Week 2: This week's class, we studied about the types of camera framing and storyboard.  fig. slides from lecture After learning of the different kinds of shot size, we also had an in-class exercise where we were to pair up with another person and record each other ...

VISUAL & SOUND PRODUCTION - FINAL PROJECT - 29/08/2023 - 2023  Safanah Aulia Asep (0337752) Bachelors of Design (Hons) in Creative Media Visual and Sound Production Final Project INTRODUCTION fig. 1. MIB TASKS Week 1:   Find 3 stop motion videos and the reason for choosing them. Video 1- The reason for choosing this video is because the storyline is interesting and it also had an emotional ending that conveys the meaning of the title.  Video 2- This animation uses food as the subject and I find that pretty creative, with how the transition goes from one item to another and the change of shapes as well as the camera zooming.  Video 3- The last video is because of how the animator used different objects that could be found in the space of a bedroom. Even with no dialogues used, the objective of the video was achieved and a message was delivered. What I found very intriguing in this one was when the back tire of the toy car was revving and that made me curious as to...
